The motif is presenting one of four large dragons, the symbol od Ljubljana, which were shaped by the architect Jurij Zaninović from Dalmatia. The Dragon Bridge is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau architecture of bridges in the world. On the base of the dragon there is a coat of arms of Valvasor, made in 1889. In the background there are the Ljubljana Castle and the Cathedral.
